Who I am

I’m a multimedia storyteller originally from Ukraine, and I now live in the Washington, D.C. area. For over 15 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of documentary, journalism, and creative production — helping people and organizations tell stories that matter. My career began behind the camera in 2002, and since then, I’ve produced hundreds of videos across formats: from social campaigns and corporate films to educational series and documentary features.

Most of my work experience has been shaped in Ukraine, where I co-founded a fact-checking media platform and led large-scale video projects for nonprofits, media outlets, and global organizations. I’ve also taught journalism and media production for over a decade, mentoring the next generation of visual storytellers. My background combines hands-on production skills with a deep understanding of narrative, visual rhythm, and audience connection.

I believe in honest, emotionally resonant storytelling — the kind that cuts through noise and helps people see each other more clearly. Whether I’m directing a shoot or shaping an edit, I aim for simplicity, precision, and soul in every frame. What inspires me most is working with people who care about their mission, their audience, and their impact.

Outside of work, I’m a lifelong collector of ideas, with a love for cinema, photography, old maps, and anything that reveals how the world is stitched together.

What I Offer

I specialize in crafting authentic, emotionally-driven visuals with a deep understanding of how story, rhythm, and visual design come together. I’ve directed and edited more than a dozen documentaries, produced hundreds of promo and educational videos, and led creative teams through complex media projects.

My work is grounded in a full-cycle production approach — from initial concept to scripting, filming, editing, and final delivery. I’m comfortable working solo or building and managing teams depending on the scope of the project.

Video Production

I work across a wide range of formats — whether it’s cinematic documentary work, branded content, or online courses. I film both in controlled studio environments and dynamic real-life locations. I’m comfortable with both scripted and unscripted formats, and I bring strong narrative instincts to everything I shoot.

I have extensive experience producing and directing live streams for conferences, webinars, interviews, and hybrid events. Whether multi-camera or single-source, I handle the full technical pipeline and work closely with teams to ensure smooth execution under pressure.

Post-Production & Motion Design

Editing is where the story comes together. I edit with a director’s mindset — focused on structure, emotion, and rhythm. In addition to video editing, I create motion graphics and simple 2D animations for explainer videos, intros, and on-screen information.
