Yuri Panin of PIN Productions has had a very busy summer thus far with a multitude of clients in DC, Maryland, Virginia, and even North Carolina. He’s been filming events, broadcasting sports games, filming documentaries, and creating footage for podcasts. These are just a few examples of what he’s been up to. Let’s take a look at just a few of these projects and where they’ve taken Yuri. Some of these projects are still in production mode, so we don’t yet have the finished product to show – but here are the “behind the scenes” stories for you to follow Yuri’s work!
Kennedy Center Documentary

In June, I was hired to go to the Kennedy Center to film the removal of the letters on the front wall as part of a documentary film project based in Europe. I spent over 5 hours filming and waiting for the moment to happen, watching as the scaffolding was being put up, amid a crowd of onlookers and news teams broadcasting this as national news.
Documentary for the Kyiv Independent

In July, I filmed an interview in DC with a team in Ukraine via Zoom as part of a documentary about propaganda. You can see a broken glass on the floor here because the client’s cat knocked it over during filming. 😂
World Players Summit

I was the photographer and videographer for the World Players Summit 2026 in DC, a conference that brought together sports players and representatives from countries around the world. This was held in June. I documented the event and then edited the film.
