I’m Yuri. Originally from Ukraine, I provide interview filming in Washington, DC for television channels, documentary producers, news organizations and production companies. As your local videographer, I handle cameras, lighting, professional audio and recording, with the setup tailored to your production brief.

Your producer or interviewer can join remotely through a private Zoom connection to conduct the conversation and ask follow-up questions. I manage the technical setup on location while the interview is recorded locally. This allows teams based elsewhere in the United States or overseas to arrange a Washington interview with a local production contact.

I offer single-camera 4K interviews and multi-camera setups, with lighting and microphones suited to the location and format. Coverage can also include B-roll of the interview subject, their workspace and other relevant details for your documentary or program. Interviews can be filmed in offices, hotels, conference venues and other locations arranged for the production.

Before the shoot, we agree on framing, eyeline, background, resolution, frame rate, picture profile and audio requirements. If the interview belongs to a larger production, you can share reference frames and technical specifications so I can match the agreed visual approach. We also coordinate the remote connection and allow time for setup and checks before the guest arrives.

Filming is available as a standalone service, with raw video and audio delivered to your production team for editing. Recording formats, file organization and transfer arrangements are agreed in advance.
